I'd forgotten to mention that it's mainly prepared in Southern cities of Turkey such as Hatay, Adana and Mersin. I updated my post with this info. Thanks! Actually the tomato paste is there for flavor, the ingredient that makes it stick together is flour! During my first attempt, the balls weren't sticking together as much and after asking my mom, she told me that the flour that makes it stick together. I hope you try it.
